I’m So Glad You’re Here

Hi, I’m Cailee Eisel, LMSW, LCSW, founder of Rooted in Wellness. I provide therapy for women and high-achieving adults seeking a more grounded, connected way of living. I am a Grand Rapids, Michigan native and received my Master’s Degree of Social Work from Ferris State University in 2021, and currently reside in Auburn, Indiana, with my family. My approach is compassionate, holistic, and trauma-informed, with a focus on creating a space where you can feel supported, understood, and fully yourself.

I understand how easy it can be to stay in survival mode — constantly managing responsibilities, caring for others, and pushing through stress while feeling disconnected internally. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe slowing down, processing their experiences, and building a healthier, more grounded relationship with themselves.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Polyvagal Theory, somatic and nervous system regulation techniques. I believe healing happens most effectively when we consider the whole person: mind, body, emotions, and nervous system, rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnosis. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming certified in perinatal mental health to further support mothers, fathers, and families experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders in the perinatal period.

We are human first. Recognizing that our relationships, with ourselves and with others, play a significant role in our emotional well-being is vital. Together, we'll explore patterns, attachment experiences, and interpersonal dynamics to foster healthier connections, greater self-understanding, and lasting growth.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing is not about becoming someone new, but rather about reconnecting with the version of yourself that has always been there underneath the stress, expectations, and survival patterns.

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, vulnerable, or even overwhelming — especially if you’re used to handling everything on your own. Taking the first step toward support is not always easy, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
